General Conditions for the Mutual App
- The "Mutual App" refers to services we offer as an extension of Internet Banking that enable you to receive information from us and to transmit instructions to us electronically, in relation to your membership, account, loan or any other matter we specify, using a mobile device capable of either accessing the internet, downloading an application, or receiving emails or text messages.
- Part E: Section 2: Internet Banking and Phone Banking of our Product Disclosure Statement Part 1 (PDS) applies to the use of the Mutual App. Where there are any inconsistencies between these Terms and Conditions for the Mutual App and the PDS, these Terms and Conditions will apply. - Each time you use the Mutual App, these Terms and Conditions and the PDS apply.
Access to The Mutual App
- The Mutual App is only available to registered users of the Mutual Bank’s Internet Banking service. No other steps are required to be undertaken to register for the Mutual App.
- You will use your User ID, Password and Security Token Code (if you are a registered Security Token User) for Internet Banking to log in and access the Mutual App.
- Once you have logged into the Mutual App, you can opt to setup a Passcode or Pattern, or Biometrics, for easy access to the Mutual App without having to use your Internet Banking login information each time. If you wish to opt into biometric information, you should ensure that only your biometric information is stored on the mobile device. Each time you use your biometric information to authorise a transactions through the Mutual App, you instruct us to perform those transactions.
- Not all mobile devices are capable of accessing and supporting the Mutual App. It is your responsibility to ensure any mobile device you use to access the Mutual App is compatible and capable of supporting the Mutual App. We will not be responsible for any damage or loss to a mobile device as a result of your access or use, or attempted access or use, of the Mutual App.
Availability of the Mutual App
- All conditions of use and charges relating to a mobile device you use to access the Mutual App are your responsibility. We are not liable for any costs you incur to access the Mutual App using a mobile device.
- You should check with your telecommunications provider whether you will be able to access the Mutual App on your mobile device if you travel outside Australia. We are not liable for any additional costs you may incur to access the Mutual App outside of Australia.
Use of the Mutual App
- Not all functions and features of Internet Banking are available for the Mutual App. The following features are not available for The Mutual App:
- Process batch transactions (transactions to multiple external accounts);
- Opening of new accounts; and
- Only limited transaction history can be viewed or searched using the Mutual App.

Disclosure
We may change these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. We will notify you of any material changes by electronic notice to you via your device or the Mutual App. We may require you to confirm your acceptance of changes as a condition of allowing you to continue using the Mutual App.
