The Mutual Bank’s core values are Integrity, Respect and Care.
We strive to support and improve gender diversity across our organisation through our policies and procedures. This includes flexible work arrangements, fair opportunity for career advancement and a respectful work environment.
This year The Mutual Bank has made its inaugural submission to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
This milestone reflects our growth as an organisation with reporting mandatory for employers of more than 100 employees.
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency is an Australian Government statutory agency created by the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
Along with meeting our compliance obligations, these reports help organisations to understand their current state of gender equality, identify areas for improvement, and track their progress over time.
In accordance with the requirements of the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012 (Act) The Mutual Bank lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (Agency) on 30 May 2024.
The report consists of three sections:
The Workplace Profile provides a snapshot of The Mutual Banks workforce from within the 12 month reporting period. It is designed to collect information about workforce composition and remuneration.
The Workforce Management Statistics document is designed to show employee movements including appointments, promotions, resignations and parental leave.
The WGEA Questionnaire document allows The Mutual Bank to provide commentary on policies, strategies and actions on gender equity.
